Kogei Styling is a company founded in October  2013 in Tokyo Japan.

We are introducing traditional Japanese art craft (kogei) items, specialized in Japanese lacquerware,  to people overseas.

And this blog is for  the visitors to have a glimpse of the true work of art made by Japanese skilled craftsmen and artists along with  some feelings of Japanese history and the tradition.

We operate on online lacquerware shop in Tokyo, with items directly purchased from excellent local manufacturers and artists. Some are Kogei Styling’s original items that you do not find anywhere else.

Products we carry are the finest natural urushi lacquerware having a truly timeless yet modern design, mainly tableware, where we have strong feelings on the preservation of Japanese tradition of how we serve Japanese food & sake.
